Where does your company stand?
You, as an individual microentrepreneur, are starting the formal journey of your business – that is, you can sale up to R$ 81 thousand/year or proportionally to the month of your company’s constitution.
This is a simplified tax regime that was developed by the federal government. It aims to serve micro and small businesses (known by the acronym MEs and EPPs).
If you bill up to R$ 78 million annually and your business is not a commercial bank or a company that is given tax benefits or with profits or dividends originating abroad, you can opt for this tax modality.
The company can choose this type of taxation, which is mandatory only if the company’s revenue exceeds the sum of R$ 78 million/year, if tax benefits are granted or if the company receives profits or dividends from overseas operations.
